La Châtaigne
La Châtaigne gite offers high quality accommodation perfect for a family or couple.
The gite is located in our walled garden of 1.5 acres, has a large open plan living area with two bedrooms and bathroom upstairs.
We are located in the centre of Piégut-Pluviers town with shops, bars and restaurants all within easy walking distance.
Piégut-Pluviers is also home to one of the largest markets in South West France which has been running since the seventeenth century and is held every Wednesday.
The space:
The open plan ground floor is spacious and comfortably furnished, offering superb living accommodation. The property has undergone extensive interior refurbishments and benefits from natural travertine floor tiles, a fully fitted and well equipped shaker style kitchen; including granite worktops, microwave, hob/oven, large fridge/freezer and dishwasher. There is a TV with satellite channels and a selection of books/toys/games to suit all ages.
On the first floor, there are two large comfortable bedrooms, with wood floors, exposed stone walls, one Double and one Twin, as well as a separate family bathroom; including a large bath, walk in shower, basin and w.c. There is a small landing area with ample storage cupboards for suitcases etc.
The living area leads out onto the private terrace and garden with outdoor lounge, dining and BBQ facilities.
